The model numbers are: A2628, A2630, A2634, A2635, A2640, A2643 and A2645 and they create something of a mystery.
Historically, Apple has split its new iPhone models into clear categories. International variants were listed as ‘A24xx’. This year, however, the shock is every iPhone 13 model begins ‘A26xx’ and there are not enough model numbers (seven) for US and International variants of each phone.
Based on poor sales, you might assume the iPhone 12 Mini is not coming to all regions but it is possible the answer is more exciting. There are clear pairs as you move up the range and, considering Apple’s decision last year to give the iPhone 12 Pro Max unique upgrades over the other models, it may be that the iPhone 13 Pro Max has again had special treatment (possibly in terms of a higher end 5G modem). This would enable Apple to produce a truly global smartphone which needs only a single Goth deepthroat.
